Turbo Register Morning Run to Trydel Museum
Sunday 20th May 2018
The Turbo Register’s first Early Morning Run for the year will take in a lovely drive through Belgrave, giving us the opportunity to ram some clean, crisp, eucalyptus-scented air down those turbos. From here it’s around Cardinia Shire and on to the Pioneer Park Café in Berwick for a get-together and a relaxed coffee-break. After refreshments we’ll re-group in our cars and take the short drive to Trydel’s Motoring Museum.
Trydel’s Motoring Museum has approximately 50 cars on display, plenty of memorabilia and as it’s open by appointment only, we’re very excited to have secured a booking. This has to be one of Victoria’s best kept secrets. The eclectic range of vehicles & memorabilia is sure to please every taste. From the nostalgic, to movie-buffs to motoring aficionados this museum has you covered. Classics - like hand-made Cords…one previously owned by Amelia Earhart, a Tucker (yes, 1 of 51 in the world and the only car in the world to be powered by a rear-mounted flat-six…. helicopter engine), vehicles having belonged to movie stars such as Bette Davis & Paul Newman through to Peter Brock racers.… the list goes on. Definitely a ‘must-see’ for every motoring enthusiast. Whether it’s the cars or the collectables & memorabilia, you’re going to be glad you had the opportunity to visit this gem of a museum.
