President's Day will return to Sandown this year, to the cheers of the assembled throng.

An opportunity to showcase the Club and the marque, and provide the ultimate passenger experience to our sponsors, friends and family.

These are the CAMS Passenger in Vehicle Guidelines we will be following.

We are aiming at a Carnival atmosphere in the pits this year to celebrate our return to the home of President's Day, and we are hoping to have gourmet wood fired pizzas, Argentinean BBQ and a coffee van to be available. These will be selling their wares to our members and guests and adding wood smoke and South American music to the atmosphere of petrol, rubber and excitement.

At 4.30pm, to mark the end of the Competition year, please accept an invitation to join our President and the Committee for a glass of wine and canapés in pit lane.

Please read the Supplementary Regulations carefully and make sure you understand the changes from a normal sprint day. The paramount objective is to share our passion for these vehicles in a safe environment. Only cars that have two seats in them and can carry passengers will be accepted.

EACH ENTRANT MUST SHOW THE SCRUTINEER TWO APPROVED CRASH HELMETS FOR USE ON THE DAY. No helmets are available for hire from the Club but can be hired through Garner’s Hire Bikes in North Melbourne Ph 9326 8676.

Drivers please note the 75 dB(A) noise limit.

Make sure your CAMS or AASA licence is current and you are a financial member of the Club.

The gate to the pits will be open from 7:00am.

ENTRY FEE $199 (inc GST).

Please Note

Entries will not be accepted from novice members for Presidents Day unless they can produce evidence of satisfactorily completing a high performance driving course from a recognised driving training establishment and a CAMS licence.

Entree class is not provided at President's Day.

Entries that are withdrawn before the Monday 24 October will forfeit half of the entry fee paid. No reimbursement of entry fee is to be made for notifications after 24 October.

Andrew Bonwick, Competition Director, 0417 549 168.
