The Last Run to Eildon Boat Club

The last club run of the year will take us to the Eildon Boat Club where you will be served a sumptuous 3 course meal in the boat club overlooking the magnificent Eildon Lake with its water levels near capacity tipping over the spillway.
After meeting at Porsche Centre Melbourne in Collingwood, the first section of the run takes us through a mixture of mostly familiar backroads and highways through Whittlesea and Flowerdale to Yea for morning tea.
We then have a relaxed one hour (approx.) drive through the Goulburn Valley to Thornton and on to Eildon over the spillway and dam wall to the club for our lunch.

Meeting Time: 9.30am check-in for 9.45am Briefing.
Meeting Location: Porsche Centre Melbourne driveway. 109-111 Victoria Parade, Collingwood 3066. Parking in Victoria Parade, Rokeby Street and surrounds.
Please Note - Coffee and conveniences are available close by: McDonald’s – Corner Smith Street & Victoria Parade, Collingwood (same side as PCM) or Grocery Bar Café – Tribeca Complex, 5/412-442 Victoria Parade East Melbourne (across the road from PCM). Please allow time prior to check-in.
Morning Tea: Yea
Go to either of the two bakeries near 44 High Street, or one of the cafes in the vicinity. The Yea public toilets are clean and about 100 metres diagonally across High St, behind the Bowling Club greens.
Lunch: Eildon Boat Club, 190 Sugarloaf Road, Eildon.
Starter on arrival: Antipasto board to share including, grilled vegetables, sliced meat, cheeses, bread, fruit etc.
Mains (served alternatively):
- Confit Duck, Slow cooked duck maryland served with mash potato and Mediterranean style slow cooked vegetables (gf)
- Grilled Scotch fillet 300gm, Char-grilled scotch fillet steak served with Rosemary and sea salt marinated roasted chat potato, seasonal vegetables, French garlic butter and red wine jus (gf)
Desserts (served alternatively):
- Warmed Chocolate brownie served with berry compote and vanilla ice cream
- Homemade Tiramisu served with whipped cream, vanilla ice cream and mixed berry compote
Cost: $75 per person. Morning tea and drinks to own account on the day.
Deadline: Friday 18th November, unless booked out sooner.
Refunds: No refunds will be made after bookings close unless we can replace your booking from a waiting list.
