Red Hill

Run to Arthurs Seat followed by lunch at the Green Olive Restaurant & Winery

We’ve organised a fantastic event for the 6th of August. The day’s event will include a drive to Arthurs Seat so that members and their guests can enjoy a chair-lift ride (on The Eagle) and a cuppa. Members can opt for return or one-way trips on the chairlift, with participants taking the one-way trip being whisked back to the top with a ‘Porsche Ferry-ing’ service…..drivers permitting.

Those not enticed by the thrills of the chairlift may wish to wander about the various vantage points around Arthurs Seat and take in the spectacular views whilst remaining on terra-firma.

Once complete, we’ll take in a tour of Mornington Peninsula’s lovely countryside as we drive to the Green Olive Restaurant and Winery at Red Hill for a lunch of tapas and a glass of wine.

The Green Olive is a 27 acre farm located at Red Hill, in Victoria’s wine-growing Mornington Peninsula. Set on a hillside and overlooking a large dam they have a most picturesque setting for visitors to enjoy, along with a wide range of farm produce tapas dishes, wine from the vineyard and a unique Farm Gate experience should you wish to take home some of those country goodies.

Meeting Location:  BP Service Station, 1404 Peninsula Link – Southbound.

Meeting Time:  8.45am for 9.15am departure (Sharp!)

Morning Tea Location: Eagle Chairlift at participant’s expense. Participants wishing to take a ride in a Porsche other than the one they came in, can opt for a half-journey on the ‘Eagle’, and be whisked up to Arthurs Seat in a ‘Porsche Ferry-ing’ vehicle.
