Boxster / Cayman Register Run
Sunday 15th March
Cosmopolitan Hotel Trentham
Please join us for a great day out with friends from the register ending with lunch at the Cosmopolitan Hotel. We'll start the trip in Bacchus Marsh then take our time to wind our way (on Porsche friendly roads of course) to the Garden of St Erth in Blackwood for morning tea. This location was well received last year and we thought we'd take the opportunity to visit again. It's in a beautiful garden setting hosted by the Diggers Gardening Club and has a variety of heritage plants for sale.
Then it's a run through the Macedon Ranges area (more nice roads guaranteed) until we arrive at Trentham and the Cosmopolitan for lunch. For something different we are trying their idea of communal platters brought to the table in a private dining area. Guests will be helping themselves to warm salmon fillet salad, chorizo, roast beetroot, feta with chipotle dressing and / or beef herb crusted roast sirloin of beef accompanied by sides of green vegetables, garden salads and roast potatoes. We're assured there will be copious amounts of food and that as a result no entree is needed.
For the observant and adventurous ones among us, we offer again the opportunity to win a bottle of wine with Sylvia's Travel Quiz. Just to keep the navigators on their toes!
Sorry for the late notification as a lot of venues were booked out for St. Patrick's weekend, but we have assured the two venues we would get back to them with numbers, so your prompt booking would be appreciated!
