ANNUAL GO KART CHALLENGE

We’re back! But this year as well as the main race we will also be offering racing for our future PCV champions.
The PCV Go Kart challenge is an event which gives the opportunity for those who enjoy racing, but do not have the chance to compete in track events. By competing it enables you to put your skills to the test, in equal machinery, to contend for the PCV Go Kart winner’s trophy.
Rain, hail or shine, Porsche Club Victoria has secured the Ace Karts venue for exclusive access throughout the night, taking advantage of the 700 meter outdoor track which offers plenty of opportunities for overtaking and wheel to wheel racing.
Ace Karts operates a strict drug and alcohol policy. No driver is to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol (BAC 0.00) and drivers may be breathalysed. All drivers must also wear fully enclosed shoes.
VENUE: Ace Karts. 20 Carrington Drive, Albion. NOTE: Ace Kars is an "all weather" outdoor track and racing will be on a floodlit track.
5:00 PM JUNIOR CHAMPS
- 6-11 year olds.
- Max 10 drivers
- $50.00 per driver
- 1 x 20 min session timed laps. Medallions for fastest 3 drivers
- Drivers are required to attend 15 minutes prior to the scheduled drive
- Parent/Guardian to be present. Safety is paramount.
- No "racing" allowed. Rookie karts limited to 40km/h
- Indemnity form required to be signed at the venue prior to racing
6:00 PM APPRENTICE CLASS
- 12-17 year ols
- Max 24 drivers
- $80.00 per driver
- 2 x 10 min qualifying session + 1 x 15min final
- Top 3 medallions
- Drivers are required to attend 15 minutes prior to the scheduled drive
- Parent/Guardian to be present. Safety is paramount.
- Track time will be monitored by multiple marshalls
- Indemnity form required to be signed at the venue prior to racing
7:00 PM PCV CHAMPIONSHIP
- 18+
- $95.00 per driver
- The event will be run with teams of 2 drivers, where the combined fastest lap time of the drivers from each team will determine the winning team.
- Drivers to nominate who they would like to be in a team with at the time of booking. Teams can be made up of 1 member and 1 guest.
- Individual bookings welcome as we will allocate you into a team
- Qualifying - Each driver will complete in a 20 minute session to determine the grid positions
- 40 min race (20 minute per driver)
- Drivers are required to attend 15 minutes prior to the scheduled drive
- Indemnity form required to be signed at the venue prior to racing
