Moorabbin

OPENING CLUB NIGHT BBQ - RSVPs required

Australian National Aviation Museum, Moorabbin Airport

Tuesday 21st February 2017

Our opening Club Night of 2017 will be held at the Australian National Aviation Museum (previously known as the Moorabbin Air Museum).

Located at Moorabbin Airport, the Australian National Aviation Museum contains a unique collection of Australian made and designed aircraft, and display engines from aircraft of 1910 to modern jet fighters.

With special thanks to the museum’s volunteers, PCV members will enjoy a sit down BBQ and beverages in the shelter of one of their hangars amongst the collection.

As well as hearing club news and meeting new members, PCV members will be offered guided museum tours and an interactive experience with open cock pits etc.

We will also hear from PCV Member Chern Wong who has produced the Porsche film “RAUH-WELT BEGRIFF (RWB)” that is showing at Imax on 25th March. This is a dedicated motion picture production to RWB founder Akira Nakai and the Japanese 12 Hours Idlers Endurance race, plus the founding journey of RWB Australia. Chern has offered an exclusive discount for PCV members to join him and other VIPs at the screening.

In addition to experiencing the Australian National Aviation Museum, the object of our opening Club Night is to socialise, refresh friendships after the break, make new ones and whet your appetites, not only for the food and refreshments on offer, but also for the exciting Club year ahead.

Early RSVPs are crucial for catering and service purposes, so please register your intention to attend via the Club's online kiosk, linked below.
