Mid 911 Register Run to the Yering Meadows Golf Club
Sunday, 14th October 2018
All Mid 911 Register Members, other PCV Members and potential members are invited to participate in our last Register run of 2018 to the Yering Meadows Golf Club in the Yarra Valley. Yering Meadows Golf Club (about 7km on the Lilydale side of Yarra Glen) was opened in 2008 as a relocation for Croydon Golf Club whose land was sold off for housing.
This run takes us north from Ringwood via Warrandyte through some tight roads via Arthur’s Creek and St Andrews, for morning tea at the popular Flying Tarts Bakery & Café in Kinglake West. We will have reserved tables at this café.
The second part of the run takes us through more open farmlands and faster roads firstly north to Flowerdale and then southward via Glenburn and the Toolangi State Forest around the outskirts of Healesville and on to Yering for a two course set menu lunch at the Yering Meadows Golf Club. We have a private function room and bar. The restaurant has sweeping views across the course to the Yarra Valley.
Note from this venue it is only 9km back to the Maroondah Highway near Lilydale so your return journey to Melbourne will be typically 1- 1.5 hours only.
