Winton Motorkhana

Sunday, 5th June 2022

This will be our first visit to the pan at Winton since 2018, part of an engaging double header weekend. The Winton skidpan is located adjacent the Sprint circuit. You are welcome to enter the Winton Motorkhana on Sunday whether you attend the Winton Sprint on Saturday or not.

The Competition Committee considers that the challenge offered by motorkhanas gives Competitors the opportunity to develop additional and beneficial car control skills. Many Competitors love the friendly environment and different range of skills presented by motorkhana events. We are pleased to be able to continue to use the Winton facility.

Never out of 1st or occasionally 2nd gear, and fabulous fun. If you haven’t done a motorkhana before, come to Winton, it is great fun and there will be opportunities to get tips from more experienced competitors. We will aim to run individual skid pan exercises initially followed by exciting head-to-head challenges.

A compulsory Drivers Briefing at 10.00am is designed to give people a more leisurely start to the morning.

Entry Fee -  $60

Entrée Class - Entrants in the entrée class are welcome. Mentors will not be riding with you at this event, but there will be plenty of experienced drivers to offer tips. No advanced driver training, fire extinguishers or Dorians are required. All you need is a CAMS Speed Licence, an approved helmet, suitable clothing (see Supplementary Regulations) and a roadworthy vehicle. Click Here for more Entree Class Information.

Catering

There is an offshoot of the normal Winton canteen stationed near the skid pan and we will have access to this during the day.
