75 Years of Porsche
Officially approved Porsche Club 52
 Sunday, 1 February 2015

The first event of 2015 will again be the always popular Summer sprint at Phillip Island and this year we have the higher 95dBA noise limit.

Gates will be open from 7.30am. Supp Regs available here

Entry Fee $255

A 2015 Vehicle Registration Form is required to be submitted to be eligible for Competition Points. Click here for a blank form, or return the pre-filled form that went out by email on 23rd December to members who had Registered their car in 2014. Forms will need to be returned in sufficient time for the Scrutineers to review the form prior to the close of entries. Early forms are appreciated.

Competition Class

Evidence of prior experience or satisfactory completion of a high performance driver-training course is a Club requirement for the timed competition classes.

All competitors will require a Dorian transponder to be fitted to their cars for official times to be recorded. Please make sure they are properly fitted and charged. Dorians can be hired for the day, but must be booked at time of entry.

Entrée Class

Entree Class will be run at Phillip Island. Entree Class is the ideal racetrack introduction for new members and those who haven't competed before. Entree Class numbers are limited.

Entrants in the entrée class get separate sessions of un-timed practice. Instructors will be provided from experienced club members. No advanced driver training, fire extinguishers or Dorians are required. All you need is a CAMS Level 2S Licence, an approved helmet, suitable clothing (see Supp Regs) and a roadworthy vehicle. This is the perfect introduction to track days for new members. Please note Entrée Class numbers are strictly limited.

Click Here for further Entree class information.

Open Pit Afternoon Session

If participants’ numbers drop off by mid-afternoon (common on most of our sprint days), we may consider the option of having an open pit from 3:30pm until close at 5:00pm. This open pit session may be declared either timed or untimed. If untimed, entrants can take another entrant with them on the track or have another entrant drive their car for training or evaluation purposes.

A final decision on exercising this option will be made on the day.

PCV Marshalling Team - Please contact Mark Behan via email if you are available to assist with this event or are new and would like to give marshalling a try.
