Porsche Centre Melbourne

Tuesday 28th October, 6pm at Porsche Centre Melbourne

The Club has been holding a review of the operation of the Standing Competition Rules at the end of the Season for a number of years. The Standing Competition Rules are the principal document governing the competition system within the Club.

The 2014 meeting will be at Porsche Centre Melbourne commencing at 6pm and finishing around 7.30pm.

Past meetings have examined changes to eligibility criteria, disputes processes and time limits, composition of the classes, number of droppable events and the operation of the dyno testing procedures. Although the new Classes have been defined, arguments around the boundaries of all classes can still be considered.

We are also keen to get feedback on the new points system introduced in 2014.

The discussion should be vigorous!

All members who have or plan to compete with the Club are invited to attend.

Suggestions or commentary is welcome on the night, but we will make better use of the time if contributions are emailed to prior to the meeting. Emails would also be welcome from anybody that cannot attend.

Topics already flagged for consideration are:

• fixing a benchmark time for a given track for the whole season.

• increased points for the regularity to encourage entries.
