Latest News 13/11

But we are not going to Sorrento !

Never mind we still have a fabulous run for you. Our lunch destination at the Sorrento Back Beach took its own pit stop mid-week leaving us on track with nowhere to stop.  So we had to rearrange things a little (a lot actually ! ). This run has history, being postponed and altered many times keeping your organisers on their toes. But rest assured they are back on the job again to cope with these late braking changes.

We are still having a full tour but instead of the starting line being at Porsche Centre Brighton they will be waving the chequered flag for a catered lunch, drinks and coffee and some more surprises to boot. More details to come.

Our starting point is still a secret (or a mystery ! ). More on this in a week’s time.

So keep an eye out for the latest update from PCV.  More excitement to come.

Last Run Organisers.

Following strong support for the Spring Run, we now know it will have to postponed (again !) due to it falling within the Melbourne Stage 4 Restriction period. We are endeavouring to move the event to the date of the Last Blast which is Sunday 29th Nov. We will advise further as soon as arrangements are completed.

Social Director

**Please note that this event is dependent upon the Government’s easing of COVID restrictions continuing as expected.

Should that not occur then unfortunately we may have to cancel the event.**

Hi everyone, time to snap into gear for a club run and head out of town for an estsy drive to the Dandenongs and a leisurely criss-crossing of the South Gippsland plains to the Mornington Peninsula.

Prior to the drive, members are invited to meet for coffee and pastries kindly hosted by the friendly team at Porsche Centre Brighton.

In adherence with COVID guidelines, the Club will run two groups of 45 people with staggered start times. Specifically, Group A will meet 08:20 am and Group B at 09:40. The duration of each morning tea session will be forty minutes.

Two lucky participants will have the opportunity to drive the run in a sensational new Porsche courtesy of PCB. When booking online ensure to register your interest to enter the draw.

Departing Brighton the convoy will travel along Wellington Road and into the Dandenong Ranges; then meander south through Narre Warren, Devon Meadows, Koo-Wee-Rup and Tooradin. The final sector will take us to the scenic seaside town of Sorrento via the Back Beach Road to the ‘All Smiles’ restaurant to enjoy lunch and the sweeping views of the beach inlet and the vast Bass Strait beyond.

Group A arrival approx. 11.45am, departure at 1.00pm.

Group B arrival approx. 1.30pm, departure at 2.45pm.

As a special addition to the Winter Run participants will be treated to a Treasure Hunt …not ’the Island’ version with the chests of gold for the winners; rather a quizzical quiz where members can participate from the comfort of their own cosy, car cabin!  ‘Eagle Eye’ winners (i.e. drivers and/or navigators) will be honoured with lots of loot!
