Boxster Cayman Run to Colac/Apollo Bay with Optional Overnight Option

Hi All, welcome to this Optional Overnight Boxster Cayman Run.

We are meeting at BP Avalon (Little River) Outbound for coffee etc., followed by a two hour drive through the Otway National Park to a venue in the Colac area for lunch.

For this run attendees can return home after lunch, or they can enjoy the drive through the Great Otway National Park to Apollo Bay and return from there, or stay overnight in Apollo Bay for a group dinner and breakfast.

Suggestions for the return drive will be included on your run notes.

Please note that those attendees who opt to stay overnight night are required to organise their own accommodation to suit their own personal preferences and tastes.

There are numerous Motels, Air Bnb’s and other accommodation in the Apollo Bay area. Accommodation varies in price and availability, the earlier the booking is made the better. 

An optional Sunday morning breakfast will be held at a local cafe.

For those who wish to stay in the region for a longer period, there are many attractions such as the Fly Treetop Walk and Zip Line, the historic Cape Otway Lighthouse, the Old Cable Station Museum, and Marriners Lookout come to mind. But you should check that these venues are open before going to see them.

Another option is to head west on the Ocean Rd to view the twelve Apostles and Port Campbell.

Cost: $5 per person.

Accommodation, meals and drinks are attendees own personal choice and at own cost.

Meeting Time:  Before10.15am.

Briefing Time:  10.25am, Departure after briefing.

Morning Tea:  There is no morning tea stop, suggest morning tea be taken at the meeting point.

Lunch Venue:  TBA (Colac Area)

Dinner:  Apollo Bay Hotel

Breakfast:  Iluka Cafe

Numbers:  Limited to 30 attendees.  A waitlist will be started if booked out.
