With Gale force winds and rain, it looked as if this show was going to be a washout.
Gazebos were taking flight and setting up was becoming a nightmare. Thankfully some club members started to arrive by 9am and helped with the set up.
By mid day the weather started to improve and the sun began to shine and a terrific afternoon was had. The attendance at the show was just amazing with a lot of interest for the Porsche cars from the public.
We had 29 Porsches on the day from early to modern. It was great to see our members travel distances from Limerick, Kilkenny & Dundalk. We had a good numbe of Membership renewals taken, including 5 new members joining the club for the first time!
The cars were positioned within the Porsche camp, keeping manufactured years together where possible. The oldest Porsche car at the show was a 1968 911T which travelled up from Limerick. Refreshments were provided along with sandwiches at lunch time.
The day ended with positive feedback, so a great day was had by all.
