Membership Eligibility: Clause 8 of the Rules requires that "every applicant must own or have owned (whether legally or beneficially) a Porsche motor vehicle or be the spouse, partner or child of such a person or the applicant must be an officer of a corporation or other entity which is or was the owner (whether legally or beneficially) of a Porsche motor vehicle."

Club Objectives: To promote goodwill, friendship and enjoyment amongst Porsche owners and drivers and to promote interest in Porsche cars by arranging and providing competition and social functions and by the collection and general circulation of technical and mechanical information.

Current Membership: Approx. 1,900

Club Nights: We meet 5 times a year for a buffet and wine dinner provided by the club. Flyers for the meeting are posted to all members advising the venue and Topic for the evening. Competition trophies are distributed and you will be updated on club events. This is a chance for members to meet and an ideal entrée into the club for new members.

Social Events: Social events are arranged at varying times during the year and include go-karting, social drive days, restaurant nights etc. with an Annual Dinner at the end of the year where annual competition trophies are awarded.

Competition Events: The Porsche Club of Victoria is a Motorsport Australia affiliated Club. Click here to go to the Motorsport Australia web site.
Club competition events typically have Motorsport Australia permits, and benefits are passed on to our members under this affiliation. The Competition Calendar consists of a mixture of sprint events, motorkhanas and hillclimbs. Typically the Club runs one Competition event each month between February and November, and a two day event on the June Queens Birthday long weekend. A Motorsport Australia licence must be purchased prior to competing in any Club event, is simple to obtain and is renewable each year.

Motorsport Australia Licence: A licence must be purchased from Motorsport Australia Ltd. prior to competing in any Club event and is renewable each year.

Registers: Owners of cars are encouraged to communicate with the Captain of their Register. The Registers aim to provide detailed knowledge on the cars they have an interest in, and will coordinate specific events.
