Welcome to Porsche Club Ireland

We are an active group of more than 300 Porsche owners and enthusiasts who love their cars!  We have great driving roads here in Ireland and our club drives take in many beautiful locations and many with huge motorsport history

The west of Ireland is home to the “Wild Atlantic Way” and Porsche Club Ireland was the first car club to drive the whole route.

While developing new and future Porsche models, it is the unique roads, in the North West of Ireland that Porsche send vehicles to be tested.

On behalf of the Committee and our Members I wish to extend very warm welcome to all our Porsche friends both at home and around the world.

Porsche Club Ireland offers a huge calendar of events for members and associates. Our annual dinner will be held in Kilkenny in April this year where we will have superb drives over the weekend.

Our prime event is held in August every year with a gathering of members and their Porsches' for the annual BBQ and Concours competitions. In 2019 this will be held at the Radisson Hotel, St. Helen's in Dublin on Sunday 4th August.

The October bank holiday weekend this year is in Donegal and is our final weekend away of the year.  This is also shaping up to be a fantastic driving experience for members.

We have our annual track days at Mondello Park and Kirkistown, and we have regular drives and breakfast meets up and down the country.
We have a close relationship with our neighbours in Porsche Club GB region 27, Northern Ireland.

If you are a Porsche Owner, or thinking of becoming an owner, we would be glad to have you join us.
Check out our events page and come along to say hello. If you are a visitor or just interested in all things Porsche, feel free to contact us. We have a strong network of experts and knowledge which just might save you a lot of money.
Our committee are an enthusiastic group planning and plotting events.
2018 was a busy year for the club as we celebrated the 70th anniversary of the first Porsche Sports Car.

Myself and Tony O’Brien were delighted to represent our club at the Porsche European Presidents meeting in Stuttgart in October 2018 along with 29 other Official Porsche Club Presidents.  We saw the changes Stuttgart are making for the future.  They plan to increase the workforce from 4,500 to 9,000.  They have torn down buildings and had others put in their place.  It was amazing to see what has been done while the production line continues without interruption.  We looked at overhead images with before and after shots.  They have built a 900 meter track to take the new Tycan body into the factory which has been built specifically for the electric cars.

During the 70th celebrations Dr. Wolfgang Porsche said:

“What is the best thing about the history of Porsche? We never ran out of ideas for the future”

I loved this line and thought it very special!

Our aim is to encourage the safe use and enjoyment of Porsche cars and to foster a spirit of enjoyment with friends.
