If ever there was a car to turn heads, its this car. Same owner for the last seven years and maintained by Barry Whelan of Whelan Motorsport during that time. All reciepts for that period.

Originally from the west coast of USA, a well known Porsche Club Ireland car and concourse winner.

Original to car 911 2.0 litre complete with Weber 40 IDT 3 triple downdraught.

Engine and gearbox have just had a major overhaul costing €8750 including new set of pistons and barrels, 12 new valves & valve guides, all engine bearings, new clutch kit, 2nd hand (but excellent condition) exhaust units, new gaskets, seals, oil, filter & plugs.

Compression is excellent, oil pressures also. Car ticks over well and sounds great. Clutch and gearbox also excellent. No leaks.

I have also recently had the front and rear brake calipers overhauled including new seal kits and new master cylinder.

This car was originally Sand Beige but was fully repainted in a Porsche Coral Metallic (Lachsilber). Body is in good condition and has been waxoyled underneath.

Seats fully retrimmed in 2003, also new lightweight door trims. Sparco belts. Interior is generally good.

Original Fuchs alloys, painted centres with polished spokes. 7J*15 rear and 6J*15 front wrapped in Bridgestones.

Mechanically the car is excellent. Current jobs on my list are all cosmetic and are as follows:

Retrim dashboard face (€50 Pelican Parts)
Replace tachometer (€150 eBay)
Replace clock (€150 eBay)
Repair/replace headliner (€200)
Steering wheel retrim (€150)

I will be carrying out these jobs when I can until the car sells. Any uncompleted jobs will be factored into selling price.

This car is a reliable daily driver. Starts first time every time. I cover 65km to work and back on motorway each day no problem, and obviously fun drives at the weekend.

Unfortunately, with baby #2 having just arrived, it is becoming less and less practical for me to own this car so I am looking for a good home for it and am open to sensible offers.
