Limerick Raceway at Greenmount, near Adare

Porsche Club Ireland to attend the Irish Festival of Speed, Saturday 3rd & Sunday 4th August.

As we celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the 911 it is only fitting that Porsche Club Ireland should attend and play a central role at the 2013 Irish Festival of Speed. We are delighted to announce that we plan to have one of the largest displays of Porsche's ever seen in the country. This will be a very exciting few days with lots to see and do for all the family and we invite you to come along and join us for the weekend.

From the Irish Festival of Speed website;

The Irish Festival of Speed is the largest celebration of car culture in Ireland, a five star mix of all things automotive; Racing Cars past and present, Rally Cars, Super cars, Vintage and Classics, Motorcycles and Air Displays!

We are delighted to announce that the ‘Limerick Raceway at Greenmount’ near Adare will host our next Irish Festival of Speed on the August Bank Holiday weekend 2013. And this year it will be a 2 day event on Saturday 3rd and Sunday 4th. Greenmount was chosen for its infrastructure, facilities and eases of access and is intended to provide the IFS with a permanent home into the future.

Among the numerous enhancements planned for 2013 will be a new purpose built motor sport track – one of the largest investments in Irish motor sport for many years. More to come – watch this space!
