We are heading 'Back West'
Failte PCI members to our first Western Region Drive for 2016. We promise a full action packed day, a chance to run parts of the Wild Atlantic Way, meander through scenic connemara, enjoy some good food and most of all meet some old and new friends for some lively banter. We hope you can join us on the 16th April. Below is a taste of whats to come.......

Breakfast is served from 09.00am and we will depart promptly @ 10.00am
Padraicins also provide accommodation on Friday night for those interested in a good local trad session. Reasonably priced @ €45pp B&B .
Our route will take us through Spiddal, Costelloe, Screeb, and Maam Cross where we turn left heading for Cliften. We will branch off for Ballinahinch Castle Hotel after passing the lake, arriving for Tea-Coffee & Scones at approx. 11.10am
Depart Ballinahinch Castle Hotel at 11.40am taking in beautiful Roundstone & Ballyconneely. A quick stretch of the legs and a Photo en route at one of the deserted sandy beaches weather permitting and then into Cliften. We will exit Cliften via the Westport road N59 and onto Letterfrack.
We exit Letterfrack to the left and drive the "Connemara Loop" passing through Tullycross and onto Leenaun where we will break for lunch in the Leenaun Hotel at approx. 13.20pm Bar menu Main Course from €9. Plan to leave around 14.30pm
Our final leg will take us from Leenaun village heading for Maam Cross ( where we may need to squeeze between the farmers and the spring lambs ) then onwards to Oughterard, Moycullen and into Galway City to finish at 15.30
