When ready, we will leave the workshop in convoy and take a 30-minute drive to a 14:30 lunch date in Lissarda taking in the historic Farnanes Hillclimb road (at a leisurely pace of course). Darragh O'Leary (of O'Leary's VW Lissarda) has kindly allowed the use of the dealership car-park which is beside the restaurant, keeping us off of the busy road.
After lunch, we will lead a cross-country drive to Fermoy where we can join the M8 motorway at Junction 14 and head for home. Expect to be at Junction 14 at 17:30. If anyone needs to cut some time a direct route to Fermoy on the main roads will get you to Junction 14 at 16:45.
As daffodil day falls on Friday March 25th Des, Sandra and James have asked that we support the Irish Cancer Society a charity close to their heart and one that has touched a family or someone close to us all.
Daffodil pins and donation buckets will be available on the day and all donations will be very much appreciated and passed directly to the Irish Cancer Society.
