PCI Summer BBQ & Concours - Sunday July 31st, 2016

Porsche Club Ireland will host its annual Family BBQ & Concours event at the Radisson Blu St Helens Hotel, Dublin on Sunday July 31st 2016. As its taking place on the Bank Holiday weekend with the next day to ‘reenergise’, we hope to see lots of people come along.

As always, it’s a great opportunity to meet fellow Porsche Club members from around the country and some new ones. All while viewing some of the best Porsche cars in the country, in the magnificent garden surroundings of the Radisson Blu, St Helen’s. We’d love to see all members and their families attend and enjoy what’s generally seen as a great family event. We’re delighted to see that Porsche Centre Dublin will be present again and bringing a selection of their latest models for you to view and enjoy!

There’ll be plenty of activities planned for the day; believe it or not some will actually involve cars! Others include a Magician and a special kids’ activity room!  We have two Concours competitions and both have limited numbers for judging, so if you are planning on entering see details below and get your entry in without delay.

This year’s subsidized BBQ has a Motor Race theme put together by the hotels award winning Executive Chef with the class of food you can expect from these events, and the plan is to have this served on the Lawn.

•   Rally Monte Carlo – seafood cocktail buffet with prawns, mussels, smoked salmon and blinis
•   24 Hours of Le Mans – Beuf al ‘a mode (roast beef in a rich red wine and onion gravy!)
•   24 Hours of Daytona – American barbecue ribs and burger station with all the trimmings
•   24h Nürburgring – cold meats and salads with pretzels cheese selection

There will be a Desert Surprise to follow along with tea and coffee served in in our function room where the various awards will be presented.

As is the tradition the club will have a prize draw for a charity and this year it’s the Irish Kidney Association and prizes are donated by PCI members and sponsors. Note: Please do contact us if you would like to donate a prize as they would all be greatly appreciated.
