Limerick Classic Car show, run by the Limerick Classic and Vintage car club held this year on May 27th.
The largest car show in Munster is now in it's 26th year
Charities benefiting from this year's event are; Children's Ark Unit (University Hospital Limerick), Limerick Maternity Hospital Neonatal Unit & CARI Limerick(Children at Risk in Ireland).
Meeting Point:
Dublin: AVOCA , Naas Road, Leaving at 9am to arrive in Limerick at 11am.
All regions meet at 11.30am at the City East Retail Park, Ballysimon road, Limerick, next to Lyons Ford and Jaguar dealership.
From M7, go to junction 29. Take the slip road and at the top head towards the city. Straight through next roundabout and turn left into retail park just past roundabout. At 12 noonall head in convoy to the show at the racecourse. Anyone coming late can go directly to the racecourse.
All held on the ideal grounds of the Limerick Racecourse, Greenmount Park, Patrickswell, Co. Limerick V94 K858. Exit 4 off the M20.
The Limerick Classic Car show has been running since 1992 and will be celebrating its 26th year in 2018. The show has grown in size year on year and is now one of the biggest outdoor shows in the country. 2018 plans to be yet again another big year for the show. Examples of clubs and groups in attendance will be Mercedes Benz, Eircooled, VAGE, Ford Cortina Enthusiast Ireland, Porsche Club Ireland etc. along with various local clubs. The show also hosts one of the largest gatherings of Volkswagons in the country. Also featuring Stunt driving demos, Supercar & Superbike Displays, Road Safety Authority's Interactive Shuttle & Roll Over Simulator, Auto Jumble, Trade Stands, New Car Displays, free kids play area and full restaurant facilities. All profits from the show are donated to local charities.
