Shanghai Charity Grand Tour 2007
This is the third consecutive Shanghai Charity Grand Tour. If you have missed the last two, you simply cannot miss this one again. You will be driving a completely new route and seeing new cities along the way. What remains unchanged will be the one and a half days to drive your Porsche on the world renowned Shanghai Formula One circuit.
Shanghai Charity Grand Tour will take place between 27th November (Tuesday) and 2nd December (Sunday). You will be stopping at Hengyang (衡陽), Wuhan (武漢) and Nanjing (南京) along the way before arriving in Shanghai on the morning of 30th November (Friday). You can then enjoy the F1 track all that afternoon and the entire following day. On Sunday, you will fly back to Hong Kong while your car is being safely transported back.
The fee for this event is HK$38,800 for each vehicle with one driver. Additional fee for each co-driver or passenger is HK$4,900. Please note that this fee is only possible with the support of the various sponsors. As such, promotional stickers will need to be put on the participating cars and participants are required to attend certain functions / meals during the Tour. Details of the itinerary are still being finalised and will be announced soon. Applications will be processed on a first come first served basis (subject to priorities being first given to existing members) and only upon receipt of the full fee which is non-refundable unless the event cannot proceed as scheduled. The Committee shall have the final decision in case of any dispute. Furthermore, to minimise potential mechanical failure due to the long drive, only Porsches manufactured in 1992 or after will be allowed to participate in the Shanghai Charity Grand Tour.
So why waste more time? Pick up your pen and fill out the application form and send it together with all the necessary documents and a cheque made payable to Porsche Club Hong Kong Ltd. at Room A1, 12/F, Kee Wah Industrial Building, 666 Castle Peak Road, Cheung Sha Wan, Kowloon. The entry deadline for this event is Friday, 17th August, 2007.
